Kickstart Internship: Project Support Officer
UK Central Team
DigiBlu is an internationally recognised specialist in implementing and operating digital workforces. Through our deep experience in leading transformations, we help organisations develop and implement their automaton strategies. Enabling organisations to realise the full potential of Intelligent Automation by situating the Digitial Workforce as a strategic enterprise asset. We operate internationally with practices in Europe and Africa.
About the role:
This placement will include working across all areas of DigiBlu UK; providing support to various ongoing projects, internal initiatives, the technology team and supporting the sales effort. It’s a role which will give you large amounts of exposure and high responsibility. It’s a role suited to a generalist and multi-tasker, someone who’s comfortable having to swap quickly from producing sales material to supporting a consultant finalising a client report to assisting on a bid submission. Being design-orientated is desirable as one potential project could include refreshing and improving DigiBlu’s sales material, producing marketing videos and designing bid documentation. You could also assist in mapping processes for clients or working in a PMO role on a client project. As the role is very flexible, you will have an opportunity to carve out a niche for yourself in the business, making the role your own. The desired applicant will succeed more than anything by displaying a supportive, and can-do approach with all DigiBlu colleagues.
We are a tech start-up, having been founded in South Africa then expanding into the UK in 2019. The UK business is growing quickly, and we’ve doubled the size of our team since the first lockdown. We help our clients enter the Fourth Industrial Revolution, by providing automation services, either as consultants or by developing and selling automated products/software on an “as a service” basis.
As we are a start-up you will need to accept some uncertainty and sometimes a lack of structure. In return, you will receive flexibility, responsibility and exposure to a high-growth tech start-up where you will be given the platform to actually contribute and make a difference to the business. We will also use our experienced team to provide as much valuable mentoring support as we can.
Who we're looking for:
You should be highly organised, good at timekeeping and able to prioritise/juggle competing demands. Being design-led and creative is important. Being a quick learner, able to multi-task and a good communicator is useful.
To be eligible for this role, you must be aged 18-24 and be on Universal Credit. You must be referred to us by your job coach. So make sure you ask them about us!
