Kickstart Internship: Technical Product Support
DigiBlu is an internationally recognised specialist in implementing and operating digital workforces. Through our deep experience in leading transformations, we help organisations develop and implement their automaton strategies. Enabling organisations to realise the full potential of Intelligent Automation by situating the Digitial Workforce as a strategic enterprise asset. We operate internationally with practices in Europe and Africa.
About the role:
This placement will involve joining DigiBlu’s Delivery Team. The team is responsible for building automations / products for clients. An example product you could be working on is DigiBlu’s Auto-Mate platform, which is a no-code app that helps our clients manage their own automation programme. You could be involved in building new features for Auto-Mate, testing existing features or helping to deploy Auto-Mate into a client environment. Auto-Mate is one of several products / new tech DigiBlu are launching this year. You could also be involved in building and deploying an automated process for clients, or act as an automation process controller, managing exceptions. Whatever technology / product you end up working on, we’ll make sure you’re trained on it and you’ll gain a developer certification from this. The role will be flexible and you’ll be trained across multiple technology platforms ready to jump in to build on whatever platform is needed. Previous coding knowledge isn’t essential as we will train you up on the tech you use.
We are a tech start-up, having been founded in South Africa then expanding into the UK in 2019. The UK business is growing quickly, and we’ve doubled the size of our team since the first lockdown. We help our clients enter the Fourth Industrial Revolution, by providing automation services, either as consultants or by developing and selling automated products / software on an “as a service” basis.
As we are a start-up, you will need to accept some uncertainty and sometimes a lack of structure. In return, you will receive flexibility, actual responsibility and exposure to a high-growth tech start-up where you will be given the platform to contribute and be able to actually make a difference to the business. We will also use our experienced team to provide as much valuable mentoring support as we can.
Who we're looking for:
You may have some coding experience, but not this is not a necessity. A logical mindset is more important than specific coding knowledge as we will train you on the tech we use. A technical education is helpful and the ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced, high responsibility environment. You'll excel if you're logically minded and detail-focused.
